Upon arrival in March, it turns out that Quinta do Arneiro is actually a working farm that runs a small food shop and an organic restaurant. We arrived for brunch, and the restaurant tela soldada enferruja was filled with other patrons – all Portuguese.

The beautiful Ericeira and its beaches are 20 minutes away if you want to enjoy the coast. If you want to go for a walk to Lisbon or Sintra, they are only 30 minutes away so you can wander around to your heart's content :)...
